Week 74 - Batismo de Marileide e Jonas

Hello everyone!

This week went great because we had two baptisms. They were of Marileide and Jonas (Mom and son).  They used to be members of another religion, but after learning the true doctrine of the Restoration, they couldn't deny the truth! We were so happy that they were both baptized on the same day.

This week went by so quickly. The time just gets faster and faster. First of all, shout out to one my best friends Josh Davis for turning 20 this past week! Feels like yesterday we were passing sacrament together.

Week 72 - Junho

We have been working so hard that my companion needs to put his feet in a bucket of ice water while we study! haha

This has been another great week in Brazil!

I thought I would keep this email to more of what I have been learning recently. These past few weeks I have been studying the Plan of Salvation a ton. And I can truly say that it is a Plan of Happiness. I have learned so much about our purpose here and why we face such trials and problems in life.  I have learned how to have an eternal perspective on things - especially when we are faced with difficulties.

Week 71 - Semana abençoada

Hello world,

This week went super great! We have been seeing such blessings as we try to put more and more effort into the work. I think that is a principle of everything we do in the gospel or the Church. We were able to find some great investigators this week that have been so prepared by the Lord.

Week 70 - Transferências

Hello everyone,

Today is transfers! And well Elder Villamar and I will be staying together for another transfer! Woohoo! He only has two more transfers, so I image that I will be his last companion.  Elder Hammond was transferred out of our zone, so that was kinda sad.  But Elder Faria (my second filho) was transferred into our zone so yay!  He says that Silene is still firme e forte.
