Hey all,
I
cannot believe it is already August.
This
week was another chill one. Our investigators are progressing a bunch.
Rosângela and Zeca (josé) will be married this Saturday. They are super excited
about it. Rosângela is helping us
encounter new investigators and she seriously is a missionary.
Cleverson
received the Aaronic Priesthood this past week. He passed the sacrament and it was so cool to
see. He is progressing a ton and the ward is giving him small responsibilities every
chance they get. I know that he will be able to serve the Lord and the Church
in so many ways!
We
have an investigator and he is like so ready for baptism. But he can’t get to church because if he goes
to church and his dad finds out, his dad will get super mad at him and get
physical. He has 18 years, so he is already an adult. But because he lives
above his dad's house, there are issues. It is really sad because he wants to be
baptized and has already put aside lots of things. We are trying to find a way to help him.
This
week we had a division with the elders in Moreno. I went to Moreno, which is a
little bit more interior. The division
went super well and we focused on developing leadership skills. We talked a lot
about loving others. I know that we need to show a lot more love for others.
Next
week we will probably have p-day on Saturday and will go to President's house.
We
feed the monkeys almost daily. Not much else to report! Have a great week!
